Perfect place for a date and views are super. Saw an awesome sunset from here. The food is pricey like any waterside restaurant but the portions are above and beyond. The service was really great too. Really a great value for my money. I had the blackened scallops and they were delicious. I highly recommend them. The salad bar here is pretty decent and the wife and I really enjoyed the whole meal.
Fantastic meal for our family of 4. Gorgeous view. Prompt and friendly service. Our mixed drinks were fabulous. Good menu options for the kids. We are picky about restaurants, but were not disappointed here. The blue crab special was so good. The baked sweet potatoes, salad bar, and seafood platter were also very good. I would come back for a sunset dinner & cocktails again in a heartbeat.
This place serves some amazing seafood. But my personal favorite is the Prime Rib and Fried Shrimp! The salad bar is worth it for their signature potato salad. If you happen to save room they also make some delicious desserts.
As Florida natives who know good seafood, Roy's is the real deal. Always fresh, perfectly prepared local seafood. Cordial waitstaff and a lovely view of the water. We eat there every time we are in the area.
Stopped in for lunch, our server Kara was friendly & super informative. We had a broiled grouper sandwich, which was fine. Cost $10, didn't come with anything, filet was on the small side (I actually thought maybe it was flounder). The snapper plate a little pricey at $23, was ordered blackened, came with really fresh & delicious salad bar, a side (we chose cheese grits) and 2 hush puppies. Fish was tasty, did have some bones, so be careful. Also ordered the large seafood plate (same accompaniments as the snapper) which was abundant, fresh & delicious! Fried plate of haddock, oysters, shrimp, bay scallops and a stuffed crab, everything was great, at $25 it was totally worth it.
